Not a fan of moisturizers? A greasy or shiny complexion, acne, or dull skin might be the result. I finally understood the importance of a face moisturizer in 2022: long after my sister’s acne journey ignited my interest in the beauty industry. I always felt like moisturizer was moisturizer anyways so anything could go but that couldn’t be further from the truth!
I’m grateful for Uncover Skincare because it got me out of my comfort zone. I found skincare products made with the African in mind that work for me as well. Face moisturizer is probably the most underrated skincare product you’ll ever see despite people using body moisturizers all the time in my opinion.

1. Packaging
I’m not going to sit here and act like packaging doesn’t affect me. The way this bottle is designed makes it easy to use this product. Also, just take a second look at that packaging. I ABSOLUTELY love it – the hot pink and neon green do it for me! I’ve seen people cut out the affirmations on the side of the packaging box and use the strip as bookmarks which I think is really cool.
2. Usage (How Long It Lasts)
I’m on my second bottle of moisturizer since hopping onto the face moisturizer wave 8 months ago. I can’t lie and say I use the moisturizer twice every day as recommended but I try. There’s days I put on an extra layer which probably compensates for the days I use it once, right? :p Look, all I’m saying is that this moisturizer can last!
3. Feel
I don’t know about you but I don’t like walking around feeling like I have a layer of oil on my skin – especially not on my face. I like body butters – keyword BODY but this moisturizer is ideal for the face. It feels light on the skin yet leaves it feeling VERY supple. It’s like magic – it’s BEAUTIFUL! Trust me to put on an extra layer of this moisturizer particularly if I’m not wearing make up just so I can enjoy how great the product feels on my skin. This moisturizer gives soft girl era vibes.
4. Functionality
I’ve noticed a visible improvement in the appearance of my skin since I started using this Argan Hydrating Moisturiser. My skin is generally brighter plus it looks and feels healthier. It contains niacinamide, African argan oil, squalane, hyaluronic acid, and moringa extract which together also hydrate the skin improving it’s elasticity, reduce the appearance of pores, improve the overall texture of the skin, reduce acne, and improve discoloration.
For best results use a cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer and sunscreen in that order. This is a 10/10 for me.
